Running PopForums In Web Site Root

Not sure if this is the best way to do this, but if you would prefer to run PopForums in the Web site root you can do this in Global.asax
            routes.MapRoute("Default",
                "{controller}/{action}/{id}",
                new { controller = Controllers.ForumHomeController.Name, action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional },
                new[] { "PopForums.Controllers" }
                ).DataTokens.Add("area", "PopForums");
If there's a downside to this, please let me know.

I've never tried it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I forget the syntax, but if you prefer to use compiled binaries, you can override the PF routes by name in your own code, provided the execution of the mapping is in the right order. You'd have to experiment a bit, but it would mean not having to edit any of the code every time you update to a new version.
