In a users profile they can ignore certain forums. These wouldn't appear in forum lists or active topics. A user would have to explicitly add forums to their own ignore list.

I'd love a way to easily insert code snippets in the posts.

After a certain number of users had flagged a message as spam it would be deleted and the account locked.
